Growth Tools

Much of my personal growth has been directly hinged on my use of sermons, books, articles, and videos.  I fell in love with listening to teaching on the radio and reading articles online.  This page is a collection of tools that have become a part of my staple diet.

Podcasts:

Just Thinking – Ravi Zacharias

Just Thinking was one of the first radio broadcasts I began listening to regularly.  I was probably in 8th grade when I started.  I have since listened to every talk, most numerous times, and have been so grateful for them.  Ravi is one of the best communicators you will ever hear.  The content may be a bit heavy at times, but stick with it and eventually you will find yourself developing a solid worldview.

Truth for Life - Alistair Begg

I discovered Alistair Begg shortly after Ravi.  Like Ravi, Alistair is one of the best communicators I have ever listened to.  Alistair is a pastor at Parkside Church in Cleveland, Ohio.  His podcasts are expository sermons and have been of great help to me in my understanding of the Bible.  I encourage you to listen to him daily.

TedTalks

TedTalks are video presentations given at TED conferences around the world.  The presentations are given by leading thinkers and are some of the most creative and informative talks you can find.  Although the content is not Christ-based, I have found it enriching to keep myself in tune to the latest developments and philosophies in the world today.
